Custom Inflatable StructureInflatables are one of our specialties and we work with many different shapes, sizes and styles. Everything we offer can be customized to your liking. You can customize the shape, size or style. This particular inflatable structure is a completely custom design. The tent is based on concept art provided by Sémone Kessler. She is an architectural designer and she comes up with ideas and designs based on what will suit the customer best as well as adding her own personal touch to the projects. This particular project was made for the Ideapod. It is a pool of great ideas that provide inspiration.
This inflatable tent was made to host multiple booths within it. The different booths then allowed event attendees and volunteers join the Ideapod and share their own personal ideas with them. The mobile booth was then taken to many places and ideas were collected wherever they went.
We had never manufactured a tent with this specific shape. The entire structure was foreign to us and we had to have our design team model everything in 3D software to run simulations and potential building strategies to make this. This was a completely original idea provided by a customer who needed us to make it for them. After working out the structural portion we went ahead and made the patterns where we could print on the tent and we provided them to the customer to let us know where they wanted the printed sections laid out. Once they got back to us we made a 3D mock up to give them an idea of what the final product would look like and they loved it. The tent rendering was then approved and we started production.
